Your silence is what will get your voice heard ….

When your words do not seem to break through and your voice lands silent on deaf ears , believe me, your silence is what will get your voice heard and your words will have their greatest chance to resonate in the ones whom need to hear them the most. Silence is not easy but it is where your voice is the loudest and is sometimes necessary to effect the change that is needed….Especially when the sound of your voice is one of the things they hold onto. Remember, they look to us for guidance, to find their way . Be their True North, their Northstar. Be to them the one star in the night sky that never moves, that is constant and unwavering, that is there to guide them always. This does not just apply to our children, or our family, but applies to everyone whose lives we touch and look to us for guidance and support. Our children are our core, our center and being a Mom and a Dad to 5 incredibly amazing, independant, and strong willed babies is not easy, but they are worth it, and truly are my greatest gift. Sometimes, especially as they get older they forget and it is then we must be silent to remind them what truly matters. Life happens and it will never be perfect. Lessons are learned along the way for everyone involved. For them and for us. Stand strong, speak truth, and do not falter. What is done in love Is done well, so never stop loving and do what is necessary to help them see. Hold them accountable as they grow and remind them exactly who you are, what that means, even if that means you must be silent. Sometimes they just need to figure it out on their own and given the opportunity to feel, to remember. Expect them to try, to understand, and to do better. Stand in your truth and lead by example.
